Reporting primarily to the Director of Care or their designee, the House Manager is an essential part of the team that helps maintain a safe and healing environment for residents, guests, and staff alike. This role involves multiple responsibilities, including monitoring security, conducting routine safety checks, attending to guests, managing incoming donations, and participating in special events and trainings. The House Manager must be flexible, capable of working collaboratively within a team and managing various tasks beyond the typical job description. A key element of the role is to engage with residents respectfully and compassionately while maintaining firm boundaries and promoting accountability. Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR regulations is vital, as well as understanding the challenges individuals face in transitioning from homelessness to employment. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in community or social services preferred
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
• Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR regulations
• Emotional maturity and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
