The venue boasts a full-service restaurant featuring American bar and grill classics alongside eclectic culinary offerings and creatively crafted desserts. Additionally, it includes three bars, a cocktail lounge with bowling, private karaoke rooms, a golf simulator, and a central nightclub, all complemented by over 400 square feet of LED screens that enhance the guest experience.
Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club operates seven days a week serving freshly prepared menu items made from quality ingredients in a fully equipped kitchen. The establishment is committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in food preparation.
We are currently seeking dedicated full-time Line Cooks to join our culinary team. This role is critical in ensuring the highest food quality and consistency according to established recipes and company standards. The Line Cook will play a key part in our kitchen operations by preparing menu items accurately and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $20.00.
As a Line Cook at Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club, you will be responsible for following orders precisely as they come in through the point of sale system and under the guidance of the expeditor. You will be handling dietary restrictions attentively and ensuring allergy concerns are addressed properly at all times. Meticulous attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and overall kitchen safety is expected to meet local health department regulations. Working cohesively with chefs and support staff, you will communicate product needs effectively to maintain smooth kitchen operation throughout service hours. Additional duties include setting up and breaking down your station, performing opening and closing procedures, reporting any equipment malfunction immediately, and participating in pre-service meetings. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring a positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn and share knowledge within the team.
Ideal candidates should be physically able to stand and work for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions typical of line cooks. A current Utah Food Handler Card is required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to meet our scheduling demands.
