The Line Cook position at Eddie Merlot's plays a crucial role in upholding the restaurant's mission to deliver superior food and service. Line Cooks are responsible for following Eddie Merlot's established Policies and Procedures manual, creating dishes that precisely adhere to the restaurant's standard recipes, portion control measures, temperature guidelines, and presentation specifications. Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met is a vital part of this role. Line Cooks also work closely with other kitchen team members—including Prep Cooks, Butchers, Dishwashers, Runners, and Managers—to maintain a clean and organized station, minimize food waste, and support overall kitchen operations.
The role demands punctuality, professionalism, and a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with the culinary team and management. Line Cooks are expected to execute nightly specials, accommodate guests with allergies or dietary restrictions, and contribute proactively to maintaining a positive team environment. The hours offered for this position range from part-time to full-time (15 to 40 hours per week), with shifts available during both day and evening hours.
