LEAD CASHIER (FULL TIME) - Associate Shopping Program

The Lead Cashier position at the SAS Marketplace Cafe located at 820 SAS Campus Drive in Cary, North Carolina is a full-time role with a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. This role is essential in maintaining outstanding guest services while ensuring the smooth operation of all cashier activities at the front service desk. The Lead Cashier is responsible for expediting guest transactions, overseeing cash controls, and maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction in accordance with the company's service policies. In this role, you will greet guests, provide solid product knowledge, and ensure all point-of-sale transactions are completed accurately. The Lead Cashier also supervises cashier scheduling, breaks, and training while supporting loss-prevention efforts. The position requires strong leadership skills to authorize guest returns, merchandise credits, and discretionary discounts while maintaining the integrity of cash and media management. Additional duties include helping prepare daily deposits and managing front-end supplies to maintain an efficient work environment.
