The Shift Leader position at El Pollo Loco offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the daily success of the restaurant. This position is full-time or part-time with a pay range of $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, location, and other factors. As a Shift Leader, you will directly contribute to achieving sales and profit goals by ensuring that restaurant operations run smoothly during your assigned shift. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee operational standards, employee performance, and guest satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards, maintaining high quality and sanitation of all menu items, and effectively managing shift operations to adhere to quality, service, cleanliness, and cost control standards. You will also be responsible for training and developing team members, opening and closing the restaurant, handling customer complaints professionally, assisting in administrative duties such as inventory and scheduling, and supporting recruitment efforts. In addition, you will ensure adherence to health, safety, and labor regulations, oversee cash handling procedures, and actively foster an inclusive and harassment-free work environment for all employees and guests.
