La Lucha is currently seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to join their dedicated team. This role is pivotal in managing the back-of-house staff on an hourly basis and facilitating the smooth daily operations across all kitchen sections including production, prep, special events, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving. The Sous Chef is expected to possess a strong grasp of diverse cooking methods and preparation techniques to guarantee that every dish served meets the highest standards of quality and presentation in a timely manner.
The individual will also play a leadership role, stepping in for the Executive Chef when necessary, maintaining team cohesion, delegating responsibilities effectively, and performing well under pressure. This position requires at least 3 years of progressive culinary experience, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory role such as Lead Cook or Sous Chef. Rocket Farm Restaurants offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 annually, dependent on experience, coupled with a generous quarterly bonus program to reward outstanding performance.
