Kitchen team leaders at Le Pain Quotidien are responsible for managing labor and food costs effectively, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly within budgetary guidelines. The role includes thorough oversight of opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures, with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance. The kitchen leader works closely with the General Manager on recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining talented team members, contributing to the overall success and growth of the restaurant. Food Handler's Certification or the ability to obtain one is required to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
