The General Manager will be accountable for increasing sales, achieving restaurant EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization), and ensuring that all budget targets are met. In addition to financial and operational oversight, the General Manager will take the lead in recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching both Managers and Team Members. Developing leadership capabilities within the team and reinforcing daily skills are crucial aspects of the role. The General Manager will ensure that all front of house (FOH) and heart of house (HOH) operations comply with industry standards and company policies, including the integrated CHARM service model, which emphasizes guest satisfaction.
This role requires an individual who is not only sales-driven but also adept in communication and team development. From conducting one-on-one meetings to coordinating weekly team discussions, the General Manager plays a fundamental role in fostering teamwork and collaboration within the restaurant. Monitoring inventory, controlling funds, payroll, and adhering to all state and federal regulations are additional critical responsibilities.
