The Bell Training Academy Pilot (BTA Pilot) is responsible for delivering expert academic and flight training to customers, covering aircraft systems, planning, and in-flight operations. Training is conducted in various Bell aircraft models, utilizing classroom settings, training devices, flight simulators, and actual flight training. This position demands a seasoned helicopter pilot with a strong instructional background to provide exemplary training both domestically and internationally. The BTA Pilot will play a critical role in supporting return to service flights, sales and marketing flights, and ferry flights worldwide. This role involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure safety and excellence in training delivery. The pilot must be adaptable, willing to travel extensively for client training sessions, and capable of delivering subject matter expertise in diverse and dynamic operational environments. The BTA Pilot will be an integral part of the team, working remotely and on-site, delivering visual and instrument flight training as well as simulator instruction. A key part of the duties includes the development and coordination of flight and ground training courseware. The pilot must comply with all aviation authority regulations and safety procedures while coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure aircraft readiness. This position often requires working beyond the standard 8 am to 5 pm schedule to meet business demands and customer needs. This role not only requires technical proficiency but also strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, instructors, and other stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate discipline, motivation, and attention to detail with a collaborative mindset suited for a dynamic team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and MS Projects is essential to manage training schedules and documentation.   • Must have at least 5 years of helicopter aviation experience
  • hold a commercial rotorcraft license
  • possess CFI or CFII certification (AGI for ground instructors)
  • minimum 1000 hours total helicopter flight time
  • at least 500 hours flight time as instructor pilot
  • no revocation of any pilot's license by FAA or other regulatory authorities
  • self-motivated and disciplined with ability to meet department objectives
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
