Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech), located just outside Seattle, Washington, is a distinguished public institute of technology founded in 1949. It holds the unique standing as the only public institute of technology in the state of Washington. This job opportunity is within the Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for managing four major buildings and multiple portable structures on campus. The role is an on-call position, where hours and work locations will vary according to institutional needs. Primary responsibilities include event support involving the setup and takedown of event-related equipment and resources, as well as moving classroom and faculty office equipment as required. Daily cleaning tasks encompass maintaining floors, walls, furniture, and waste disposal, utilizing industrial-strength chemicals, and operating power cleaning equipment. Flexibility is crucial as duties may also include other assigned tasks consistent with maintaining the college’s physical environment.
