Within this dynamic and fast-growing company, the role of Sanitation Team Member is a critical position dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the factory facilities. As a Sanitation Team Member at FGF Brands, you will be responsible for ensuring that all factory areas, equipment, and public spaces are cleaned to the highest standards. This role plays a vital part in supporting food safety and personnel safety by abiding by and enforcing stringent hygiene protocols and safety standards. This position is a full-time, overnight shift from Monday to Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, offering an hourly rate of $21.00, plus an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am. The role demands a hands-on approach with duties that include not only cleaning and maintaining equipment but also performing sanitation audits, collaborating with other departments, and supporting quality assurance during inspections. The Sanitation Team Member is expected to understand various policies such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), SDS (Safety Data Sheets), and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) protocols. Beyond personal capability in sanitation tasks, the role requires working effectively as part of a team and possessing the ability to problem-solve by participating in root cause analysis and routine troubleshooting. Training on chemical handling and applications is provided, emphasizing safe and efficient use aligned with SOPs. This ensures the facilities maintain a state of cleanliness suitable for both internal standards and tour readiness. This role is physically demanding; candidates must be prepared to work in variable temperature environments, handle chemicals safely, lift up to 50 pounds, and be comfortable working at heights regularly up to 20 feet, and occasionally up to 80 feet using ladders or scissor lifts.
