As a Janitorial Second Shift Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the janitorial team alongside the shift supervisor. This role is hands-on, requiring direct involvement in cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors and stairs, sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning sinks and countertops, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas. Additionally, the Lead is tasked with maintaining janitorial closets and equipment in a safe, organized, and operational condition, ensuring that all tools and materials are readily available and properly cared for. Beyond these operational duties, the Lead is expected to play a key role in staff training and development, coaching team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct. Managing daily activities of the staff, conducting routine inspections, and assisting with overall department planning and organization form an essential part of this position. The Lead ensures that the housekeeping department sustains the highest degree of guest care and satisfaction at all times, reflecting UG2’s commitment to excellence.
