The role of a Cashier at Wingstop is integral to the guest experience and overall successful operation of the restaurant. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and excellent customer service during the order-taking process, whether in person or over the phone. This role requires you to be quick and efficient in communication, coordinating seamlessly with team members from both the front of house and back of house to ensure guests receive their orders accurately and on time. The Cashier serves as the frontline ambassador of Wingstop, greeting guests warmly, taking orders with attention to detail, and upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
In addition to processing transactions accurately, the Cashier is expected to maintain a clean and organized front-of-house environment, restock products during downtime, and uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines. The position demands strong cash handling skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a professional yet friendly demeanor. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis with flexible working hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and holidays. - Experience using a computer and register (POS) system preferred
- Food Handler Certification is required
- Strong cash handling skills
