The role of a Bar-Back is critical in supporting our bartenders by ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and prepared for service throughout the shift. As a Bar-Back, you act as the extra set of hands behind the bar, assisting with various tasks that keep things running smoothly. Your responsibilities include maintaining stock levels for liquor, garnishes, and supplies, replenishing ice wells, and managing waste by emptying trash. You will also be in charge of cleaning and wiping down bar counters, tables, and furniture to uphold hygiene standards, washing glasses and dishes promptly to prevent delays during busy hours, and dealing with incidental spills and broken glassware efficiently to maintain a safe work environment. Changing beer kegs is also part of your routine duties, contributing to uninterrupted drink service.
