As a Kitchen Manager at TGI Fridays, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and enhancing the overall guest experience. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of kitchen management during scheduled shifts, including decision-making, staff management, and guest interaction. You will optimize profits by controlling food costs, labor, and production efficiency while maintaining high standards of food quality and speed of service. Beyond kitchen duties, you will also assist in purchasing and receiving food products, inspect local suppliers, and maintain proper storage and sanitation to minimize food waste and optimize food cost. Acting as a key liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff, you will promote open communication and collaboration to enhance teamwork. Additionally, in the absence of the General Manager, you will serve as the acting Manager on Duty, overseeing restaurant operations and ensuring security protocols protect both team members and guests.
