The Janitor position at Compass Group’s United Airlines Houston Club is a full-time role designed for individuals who are passionate about maintaining cleanliness and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for visitors, employees, and patients. This role is vital in upholding the hygiene standards and ambiance expected in such a prestigious setting. Working primarily from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, the janitorial team member will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties that include heavy cleaning of floors, washing walls and glass, shampooing rugs, and the proper disposal of rubbish. The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour, and employees benefit from uniform and laundering services and free meals available at select locations. This role requires prior janitorial experience and a commitment to employing infection control procedures and federal, state, and county guidelines. The janitor will be tasked with using assigned cleaning materials and equipment, executing an eight-step cleaning procedure, and ensuring every area is sanitized effectively. This includes moving furniture and equipment as needed to perform thorough cleaning and returning them to their proper places.
