The Runner position at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is a vital full-time role, working the graveyard shift from 12:00am to 8:00am. This role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, physically capable, and motivated to contribute to a seamless guest experience. The Runner is responsible for performing a range of duties that maintain operational flow behind the scenes. Key responsibilities include keeping inventories of supplies, meticulously recording deliveries and timing, cleaning guest rooms and spaces, stripping beds, delivering requested items to guests and staff, and managing supplies around the property. Additional tasks include organizing and storing monthly reports for housekeeping, managing the 12th floor storeroom inventory, and performing cleaning of equipment such as refrigerators, irons, coffee pots, and Jacuzzis. The Runner also ensures furniture protection, stains furniture as necessary, and replaces in-room items to maintain the highest standards of guest comfort. This role requires physical stamina as it involves frequent standing, walking, handling various tools and controls, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. Good vision and focus are essential for the detailed nature of inventory management and maintenance tasks. Strong organizational skills are imperative to keep track of multiple responsibilities efficiently. This position is critical to supporting team members and management by providing necessary supplies and maintaining the property’s upkeep to meet the luxury standards expected at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. In addition to the physical demands, the Runner must adhere to company grooming standards including no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair and nail colors, reflecting the professional image the resort projects.
