The Environmental Services Technician role at St. Joseph's Hospital is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards required to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this position, you will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various hospital areas while using specialized equipment and approved disinfecting chemicals. Your efforts will play a crucial role in preventing the spread of infectious diseases and maintaining overall hygiene in patient rooms, emergency rooms, operating rooms, waiting areas, nurses' stations, restrooms, and other hospital spaces. The role includes proper disposal of biohazard waste involving bodily fluids and sharp objects, restocking supplies like soap, paper towels, tissues, and linens, and adhering to detailed cleaning protocols tailored to the specific needs of different areas within the hospital.

The pay range for this role is $18.00 to $22.75 per hour.
