The Environmental Services department at IMC is hiring a full-time Housekeeping Attendant for the 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm shift. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The housekeeper's responsibilities include performing cleaning duties across various hospital areas, such as patient rooms, surgical suites, and public spaces, while adhering to strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines. The role requires the use of hospital-approved cleaning agents, timely completion of assignments, and the conscientious handling of both standard and biohazardous waste. Furthermore, the Housekeeping Attendant supports patient safety initiatives by helping prevent healthcare-associated infections through proper sanitation and by ensuring that the environment promotes healing and comfort. As part of the Environmental Services team, the Housekeeping Attendant will work under the supervision of the Floor Supervisor or Department Manager and will be expected to exercise judgment within established procedures.
