This position offers a balanced mix of indoor and outdoor cleaning projects, requiring a versatile approach to custodial duties. The role demands advanced training and skill proficiency for specialized cleaning tasks, ensuring a high standard of maintenance throughout the premises. Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning and maintenance duties, addressing both common areas and more specific assignments as directed by supervisors. The position operates within a Monday through Friday morning shift, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, promoting a consistent and structured work schedule. In this role, the successful candidate will act as the face of Worth Ross Management Company by warmly greeting residents, visitors, and vendors, assisting them with their needs to foster a hospitable environment. Duties encompass waste removal from offices and shared spaces, carpet and floor cleaning across all common areas, and thorough dusting of elements such as corridors and lobbies. A keen eye for safety is essential, as the individual will be responsible for promptly identifying and reporting any hazardous conditions to management to uphold a safe environment. Candidates must be capable of lifting and moving weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds commonly, and performing physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, reaching, gripping, and climbing stairs or ladders regularly. The job involves handling light to heavy materials, appliances, and equipment, alongside repetitive hand, wrist, and elbow movements. Normal hearing, vision, and depth perception are critical for safely managing chemicals and equipment involved in cleaning tasks. The use of personal protective equipment, including back belts, goggles, masks, and gloves, is mandated to ensure safety during task completion.
