The role of Housekeeper for the 2026 season at American Cruise Lines is a temporary, yet highly impactful position where you join the shipboard hotel team to provide exceptional hospitality services. Over a commitment of 28 weeks, Housekeepers will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal within the staterooms, common areas, and facilities on the ship. This role is crucial in maintaining the comfort and satisfaction of guests sailing on these remarkable American waterways. In addition to meticulous cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, handling stains, and managing inventory, Housekeepers are encouraged to build genuine rapport with guests by responding promptly and graciously to their needs. This customer-focused role not only involves housekeeping but may also include assisting in special events and guest interactions, promoting a welcoming atmosphere aboard.

                - At least high school diploma or equivalent
 - Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
 - American citizen or Green Card holder
 - Willing to work 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
 - Must pass pre-employment drug test
 - Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
 - Compliance with grooming standards
 - No consumption of alcohol while on duty
 - Ability to perform emergency and safety functions on board
 - Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks
