The successful candidate will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and contribute directly to creating a neat and sanitary environment in common areas, resident rooms, restrooms, and throughout the facility. The Housekeeper will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture, and cleaning windows and surfaces as needed. Additionally, this role involves restocking restrooms, disposing of trash, and preparing rooms after resident departures by changing linens and turning rooms. Beyond cleaning duties, the Housekeeper is expected to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to follow directions accurately while maintaining a professional appearance and positive interaction with residents. Proficiency with basic software such as Microsoft Office Suite is also preferred to aid in managing housekeeping schedules and communications. The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, squat, bend, climb stairs, and handle lifting of items up to 25 pounds. Candidates must be comfortable using cleaning equipment and operating in various weather conditions when commuting.
