The property features stylishly designed modern guestrooms with scenic views of either Biscayne Bay or the Miami skyline. Guests have access to an onsite, three-meal restaurant called Biscayne Tavern, as well as a thriving nearby culinary scene. The role of House Attendant is an hourly position responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of assigned hotel areas and equipment to ensure a safe, pleasant, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and staff. Key responsibilities include performing daily maintenance tasks such as buffing marble floors and shampooing carpets and furniture to meet hotel standards. The House Attendant also supports the guest experience by delivering items to guestrooms, assisting with luggage in a courteous and efficient manner, and handling lost and found items responsibly. In addition, this role involves maintaining hotel equipment, ensuring it is stored correctly and functioning properly, cleaning guestrooms when necessary, and assisting in emergency procedures as needed. The House Attendant plays a vital role in upholding the high standards expected by Highgate and contributes to overall guest satisfaction by providing attentive, friendly service. The position may also entail completing special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. This role requires physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds occasionally) and stand during entire shifts, as well as excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in hotel or hospitality field preferred
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects
• Ability to stand for entire shift
