The position available is for a Front Desk Agent working the PM shift, reporting directly to the Front Desk Supervisor or Manager. This role involves greeting and registering guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, listening carefully to guest needs, and responding appropriately. The successful candidate will complete the registration process, accurately input information into the hotel's computer system, confirm guest details such as the number of guests, duration of stay, and room rate, and make suitable room selections based on customer requirements. Additionally, the Front Desk Agent will handle coding electronic keys, verify credit and debit card transactions, and promptly answer telephone inquiries with clear and positive English communication. Closing guest accounts at checkout and confirming guest satisfaction are also critical responsibilities. 
This position requires someone who can effectively manage guest interactions with patience, tact, and diplomacy, especially when handling challenging situations. The Front Desk Agent must be able to work weekends and holidays, stand and move continuously during their shift, and have an aptitude for using moderately complex computer systems and calculators. Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory, and a high school diploma is required. This role is vital to the smooth operation of the hotel's front office, contributing significantly to the guest's overall experience and the hotel's reputation.
