The position demands attentiveness, courtesy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks such as seating coordination, waitlist monitoring, reservations via OpenTable, and handling telephone inquiries professionally. Beyond greeting and seating guests, the Host/Take Out Associate plays an essential role in managing the takeout process, from order receipt and packaging to payment processing. This responsibility requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all orders meet quality and service standards, avoiding packaging errors and mishandling during transport. • High school diploma or equivalent
• ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting
• must be able to handle guest incidents/complaints
• basic computer skills
• previous work experience as a host is preferred
• working knowledge of OpenTable and Point of Sale is preferred
