In this role, the Host greets guests warmly, seats them appropriately based on their needs and server rotation, and provides menus, ensuring a seamless introduction to the meal experience. The Host is also responsible for managing phone inquiries, inputting takeout orders accurately, and maintaining cleanliness and proper setup of dining and serving areas including restrooms. Maintaining a positive, professional approach while interacting with guests and coworkers is essential to the role. Additionally, the Host assists other staff during busy periods by serving or bussing tables and directs waiting guests to the bar area as needed.
