The role of Host / Carryout Staff at Saranello's is pivotal in shaping the guest experience right from the moment they enter the restaurant until their departure. This position entails warmly greeting and seating guests, managing telephone communications with professionalism, handling reservations, and ensuring accurate guest counts and wait times. Additionally, the carryout responsibilities include taking orders, verifying their accuracy, packaging meals, and collecting payments, all while maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction. The role may also involve assisting with coat check duties as needed. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, poise in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine commitment to delivering superior customer service. Physical requirements for the position include the ability to move chairs and tables safely, lift various weights, and stand for the duration of shifts.
