The role of the Runner No-Driving at HMSHost Nashville International Airport is essential for maintaining smooth supply chain operations within the warehouse and retail areas. This position involves a combination of physical and clerical duties focused on the shipment and reception of supplies and finished products to support day-to-day business functions. The Runner No-Driving works under the direction of the Warehouse Manager or General Manager and is expected to uphold company standards for accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Responsibilities include verifying shipping records, ensuring proper packaging and labeling, unpacking goods, checking received items for damage and accuracy, and coordinating with materials transport companies. This position is integral to meeting delivery schedules, executing ticketing processes, and managing inventory in a computer-based system. The Runner also identifies damaged or expired products, implements product rotation, maintains storage fixtures and equipment, and assists in physical inventory and upkeep of bin locations. Compliance with all security and safety procedures is mandatory. This non-exempt role requires individuals who are capable of physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and who have good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and coworkers.
