The Ice Skating Attendant role at Guest Services, Inc. offers a unique opportunity to work in an exciting outdoor environment where providing exceptional customer service is paramount. This position involves maintaining the safety and enjoyment of all guests while they skate. An ideal candidate will be proficient in ice skating and vigilant about safety protocols, ensuring a safe and enjoyable skating experience for all visitors. The role involves working primarily on the ice for six-hour shifts, requiring physical endurance and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Attendants play a crucial part in controlling the flow of skaters, ensuring guests adhere to all safety instructions and rink rules, and assisting with the transport and storage of recreational equipment. They provide courteous guidance to guests, addressing questions and concerns related to skating activities, directions, and preferences. Additionally, attendants must be ready to respond promptly to any accidents or emergencies, administering first aid as necessary and managing the situation with composure and professionalism.
This role also entails maintaining records of all rental equipment, ensuring the rink area is kept clean and safe, and handling minor guest issues effectively. Ice Skating Attendants contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests while supporting the overall operations of the skating rink. This is an hourly position with a competitive pay rate of 17.95 USD per hour and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be able to stand or sit for long periods and possess the physical capability to lift and move equipment as required.
