The Guest Relations Manager at Sunriver Resort plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall guest experience by supporting the guest services team and ensuring every visitor receives personalized, high-quality service. This leadership position involves overseeing the concierge team and assisting in the management of front desk agents, assistant guest services managers, and bell services, especially stepping in as acting Front Desk Manager when necessary. The Guest Relations Manager is responsible for promptly addressing and resolving guest concerns with professionalism, maintaining guest satisfaction, and upholding the resort's distinguished service standards. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of hospitality trends, and the ability to foster teamwork among guest service associates. The manager will also be involved in staff training, development, and inspiration, ensuring all team members uphold and exemplify the resort's Core Values in every interaction. Moreover, the Guest Relations Manager is actively engaged in maintaining excellent communication within the resort, coordinating with various departments such as housekeeping, engineering, sales, and conventions to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Handling VIP guests and special requests is a key part of this role, alongside managing online reputation by responding to guest feedback and surveys through platforms like Revinate. The role requires a flexible schedule, accommodating evenings, weekends, and holidays, and demands a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
