The Global Events Senior Manager role at Qualtrics is a critical position based in Seattle, designed to elevate the planning and impeccable execution of major company events. The role encompasses managing core workstreams for the flagship X4 conferences, including both domestic and international events, handling onsite branding, logistics, and event technology to ensure these conferences deliver exceptional attendee experiences that drive significant business impact. This position plays a pivotal role in managing a diverse array of vendor relationships and cross-functional stakeholders across global regions such as the US, APJ, and EMEA. Beyond managing X4 conferences, this role also contributes to Tier-1 global events such as tradeshows and third-party events and participates in the Events Center of Excellence to help build standardized, scalable frameworks across the company’s global event portfolio.
Success in this role is defined by your ability to innovate and strategically apply technology to create cutting-edge experiences, foster clarity and decisive action in complex environments, lead collaboration across multiple teams spanning marketing, sales, and product groups, and guide others through mentorship and knowledge sharing. You are expected to balance speed and quality when making decisions, establish accountability, and consistently deliver results through scalable, sustainable processes.

The role is integral to shaping three of the largest and most visible experiences at Qualtrics, including the X4 flagship event and international conferences in London and Sydney. The role also entails contributing to the designation of the Qualtrics Events Center of Excellence by standardizing event processes, scaling best practices, and setting new benchmarks for innovation.
In this role, you will design and drive innovative attendee experiences that push industry standards and position Qualtrics as a leader and tastemaker in event design. You will leverage data, event platforms, and emerging technologies to enhance creativity, personalization, and business outcomes. The job also involves managing budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and ensuring fiscal responsibility while maximizing impact. The Global Events Senior Manager must excel in managing high-pressure situations, steering programs with thoughtful execution and a balance of trade-offs, while implementing sustainable processes that scale year-over-year.
This role is well-suited for candidates with 7+ years of professional event management experience, preferably within a tech company or a fast-paced environment. Experience leading large customer-facing conferences of over 5,000 attendees, the ability to set bold creative visions, and a strong track record in leveraging technology for event innovations are essential. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple priorities and stakeholders globally. Strong communication skills and executive presence are imperative to manage cross-functional teams and external partners effectively. A Bachelor’s degree is required. This role features an annual base pay range of $134,000 to $192,000 USD with potential sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units.
