The General Manager (GM) role at Sky Zone is a full-time, onsite leadership position that reports directly to the District Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of park operations, which includes managing park safety and cleanliness, driving membership sales and overall park revenue, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience across all park offerings—from birthday parties and the cafe to the various attractions on site. A General Manager at Sky Zone leads by example and inspires their team, creating a positive work culture where clear expectations are communicated, and exceptional standards are consistently upheld. The GM is expected to be a proactive leader, fostering teamwork and accountability while navigating the challenges of a high-energy, customer-focused environment. Specific responsibilities encompass developing and mentoring Assistant General Managers and Team Leads, ensuring that they become effective people leaders and business experts. The GM directly influences employee growth through overseeing hiring, training, performance monitoring, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions. They must manage the park’s financial health by strategically utilizing Profit & Loss (P&L) reports to control expenses, maximize revenue streams including sales and events, and collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute promotional efforts. Additionally, the GM guarantees conformity with facility safety standards, conducts equipment checks, and enforces OSHA regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. The position requires a hands-on approach with the ability to step into various roles within the park as needed. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential, as is physical stamina to remain active on the floor of a busy park, including the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually, with bonus opportunities based on performance metrics.   • 18 years of age or older
  • Completed high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a high customer volume industry
  • At least 2 years of sales experience
