• High school diploma or GED
• Texas Department of Health Paramedic certification or licensure
• 2+ years of EMS experience preferred
• BLS healthcare provider certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) or ability to obtain within 1 year
• valid Texas driver's license
• ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
