The ideal candidate will have experience in sanitation and facility upkeep, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas meet cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include major cleaning tasks after the restaurant’s closing hours, involving dismantling, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling critical cooking equipment such as broilers, fryers, and hood filters. Additionally, this role entails changing fryer grease, cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, and windows, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The Night Porter / Sanitor will also observe and enforce safety and security procedures, contributing to a safe working environment for all employees and patrons. This position requires someone who can work unsupervised, demonstrate reliability, and be committed to keeping the restaurant spotless and operationally ready for the next day.
