We are currently seeking a professional, bright, and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. This role is pivotal to the smooth operation of our practice and plays an essential part in shaping the overall patient experience through friendly, professional, and attentive interactions. As the first point of contact for patients, the Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for efficiently coordinating patient workflow, managing communications, verifying patient information, assisting with billing and insurance, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet patients warmly, handle their check-in and check-out processes, enter new patient information into our electronic medical records system, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and signed. Additionally, this role involves collecting payments, handling appointment scheduling, managing product inventories, and supporting the team by assisting with various administrative tasks.   • High school graduate or GED
  • 1-3 years recent experience as a medical receptionist in a clinical or surgical setting preferred
  • previous experience in dermatology preferred
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • knowledge of HIPAA standards
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • ability to function well in a fast-paced and stressful environment
  • detail-oriented
  • working knowledge of multi-line phone system
  • able to operate standard office equipment such as computer, fax, copier, scanner
  • intermediate computer skills and experience in EMR utilization
  • fluent in English
  • ability to sort and file materials correctly alphabetically or numerically
  • ability to travel to and provide coverage for other local offices as needed
