The Food Service Supervisor role at South Dakota Woman's Prison is a key position within Aramark’s correctional facility food service operations. This role involves supervising inmates to ensure that meals and food preparation align precisely with production plans, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and operational efficiency. The supervisor will lead and train workers on best practices and work methods, assign tasks effectively, and ensure that all food safety regulations are followed carefully. Beyond meal preparation oversight, this role encompasses maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the food service area, organizing inventory, and coordinating daily activities to promote a smooth and cost-effective food service operation. The Food Service Supervisor must be highly organized, capable of multi-tasking, and able to maintain emotional control under pressure.
