The Food Court Manager position at Desert Diamond Casino is a critical role responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations within the food and beverage category. Reporting directly to the Senior Food & Beverage Manager, this full-time managerial role requires extensive knowledge of Arizona Title 4 liquor laws and industry best practices. The Food Court Manager is entrusted to maintain compliance with TOGE-specific policies, internal controls, and a comprehensive understanding of Tribal, City, State, and Federal health and food safety regulations. Charged with the overall direction of kitchen, bar, dining, and concession operations, the manager leads a team responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while upholding cleanliness, sanitation, and operational standards.
Key responsibilities include managing personnel actions such as hiring, firing, scheduling, and training team members while ensuring that all operations remain within budgetary guidelines. The role demands frequent coordination with senior management to plan sales promotions, inventory management, and administrative duties such as payroll time sheets and team communication. Food Court Managers must demonstrate leadership by modeling Desert Diamond Casino's Spirit of Service Standards and fostering a positive work environment. This involves conducting training on food preparation, beverage service, food sanitation, and Point of Sale (POS) systems, thereby enhancing team performance and guest satisfaction.

                - Must have associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
 - Minimum 5 years restaurant and bar industry experience with 2 years in managerial capacity
 - Must be 18 years of age or older
 - No felony, theft or stealing convictions
 - Must successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check
 - Must obtain and maintain a gaming license
 - Must have management experience at 4 or 5 Diamond award property or high volume restaurant
 - Ability to obtain Food Handlers card
 - Ability to obtain TIPS certification
 - Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
 - Ability to supervise staff
 - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
 - Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended or irregular shifts
 - Able to work in a high noise environment with exposure to second-hand smoke
 - Must be able to follow instructions and work under stressful conditions
