As the Food & Beverage Director at The Waymark Chattanooga, you will play a crucial leadership role in shaping and directing all aspects of food and beverage operations within the hotel. This includes managing restaurant outlets as well as banquet events, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for driving the financial performance of the food and beverage department by developing both short-term and long-term operational and financial plans aligned with the hotel's strategic goals and Conrad Hospitality's overall mission.
This role requires an innovative and strategic approach to leadership, combining a deep understanding of financial management with exemplary guest service skills. You will work closely with culinary and service teams to implement fresh, market-competitive concepts and guarantee that service excellence upholds the Concord brand's distinguished reputation. The position involves hands-on leadership to empower and train team members, foster a collaborative environment, and maintain high levels of operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, you will be responsible for designing revenue-generating programs, ensuring quality control through evaluations and guest feedback analysis, and maintaining smooth execution of group bookings and banquet events. You will also play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training food and beverage associates to meet or exceed service expectations. Moreover, you will lead marketing initiatives designed to promote the hotel’s food and beverage outlets and seasonal offerings, continuously developing innovative programming to stay competitive within the local market.

- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food and beverage management, including leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial and operational plans
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in relevant management software and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
