We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Food & Beverage to join our leadership team and collaborate closely with the hotel General Manager to oversee all onsite food and beverage operations. This leadership role is pivotal in managing day-to-day activities at the hotel’s Bistro and rooftop bar, as well as coordinating food and beverage services required for meeting spaces. The Director of F&B will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, inventory control, ordering, menu planning, and ultimately ensuring the profitability and operational success of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel. The position demands a hands-on leader capable of driving revenue growth, controlling costs, and fostering a cohesive and professional team environment conducive to providing exceptional guest service.
The role requires flexibility due to the 24/7 nature of the hospitality industry, involving varied shifts including first, second, mid-shifts, and weekends. This salaried position starts at $70,000 annually and offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and a quarterly bonus program. The Director will be responsible for maintaining brand standards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA and health department requirements. Additionally, the Director will oversee catering and banquet operations, collaborating with sales and events teams to deliver high-quality service for all hotel functions.
This role demands extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, culinary services, financial management including budgeting and cost controls, and strong leadership capabilities to mentor and develop a team. Candidates must be skilled in managing large-scale operations with sales exceeding $500,000 and adept at utilizing property management systems, POS, and inventory software. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Minimum three years' experience supervising and managing food and beverage staff
