The Studio Manager is a pivotal leadership role within MIDTOWN, reporting directly to the Program Manager. This position holds full responsibility for overseeing the overall studio experience, ensuring that all signature programs run smoothly and meet our high standards. The Studio Manager acts as an ambassador within the designated studio, promoting a professional, inspiring, and collaborative atmosphere that aligns with MIDTOWN’s vision of an in-club boutique strategy. This role requires adaptability to industry trends and a keen ability to lead a diverse team of instructors toward achieving success through excellent program delivery and member engagement.
Key responsibilities include managing studio equipment and audio-visual systems, actively participating in talent recruitment and onboarding, leading and evaluating the performance of instructors, and working closely with the management team to optimize group programming schedules. Additionally, the Studio Manager drives initiatives to increase member attendance, maintains current knowledge of competing boutique studios and trends, and ensures alignment with company values and guidelines. By overseeing member onboarding and studio events, the Studio Manager contributes significantly to enhancing the overall club experience.
This role demands a leader with a hands-on approach, energized by a people-first environment, and excited to innovate within the fitness industry. The hourly pay rate for the position is $26.25, with actual compensation adjusted based on experience and additional skills. While this description outlines the primary expectations for the Studio Manager, additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support departmental operations.
