The position being offered is a Kitchen Supervisor role within the Kinseth Hotel Corporation’s kitchen team. This role is a crucial leadership position responsible for supervising and coordinating activities related to food preparation, kitchen operations, pantry management, and supply storerooms. The Kitchen Supervisor ensures that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. A typical day may involve hiring, scheduling, training kitchen staff, managing food inventory and supplies, planning menus, preparing food during busy periods or special events, and maintaining compliance with KHC’s policies and brand standards. The role demands strong organizational and leadership skills as the supervisor directly oversees between 1 to 25 kitchen employees, ensuring all tasks are completed effectively while abiding by safety and operational guidelines. It also involves budgetary responsibilities such as assisting in developing kitchen budgets and pricing of menu items to optimize cost control and profitability.
