The Executive Chef role at Medina Golf & Country Club in Medina, MN is a pivotal position responsible for leading all kitchen operations while upholding Invited's high standards of culinary quality and innovation. The Executive Chef plays a critical role in creating diverse and enjoyable menus tailored to guest preferences and event needs, as well as collaborating closely with club management to set pricing strategies and manage food and labor costs effectively. This leadership position requires excellent management skills to supervise and motivate kitchen staff, coordinate procurement and inventory management, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain an efficient and sanitary kitchen environment. The Executive Chef will also lead efforts to enhance member satisfaction through consistent quality food production and active engagement with club members.
This position demands a blend of creativity, operational expertise, and financial acumen. Beyond overseeing day-to-day kitchen functions such as food preparation, menu execution, and quality control, the Executive Chef is responsible for recruiting, training, and promoting kitchen personnel to build a collaborative and professional team. Working together with the Food & Beverage Director and Event Sales Director, they help coordinate banquet and event catering to ensure seamless service delivery. The role also requires vigilance in food safety standards and workplace safety policies to safeguard both employees and members.
