Levy is now collaborating with The University of Oklahoma to recruit an Executive Chef to lead their Performance Dining operation. This crucial role focuses on supplying student-athletes with innovative, nutritious meals that enhance their training, recovery, and peak athletic performance. The Executive Chef will be the culinary leader and manager of the Performance Dining team, a role integral to executing the culinary vision aligned with the client’s objectives. The position demands both culinary expertise and strong leadership, emphasizing superior operational performance and execution. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with dietitians and the sports nutrition staff to understand and meet the specific nutritional needs of elite athletes. This includes crafting tailored menus featuring scratch cooking with minimal processed foods to promote athlete health and vitality. The chef will also maintain a hands-on presence during meal times to engage directly with athletes, coaches, and staff, fostering communication and ensuring satisfaction. Operationally, the Executive Chef will work with the Director of Operations and finance teams to manage budgets, food costs, and purchasing processes. They will be responsible for establishing culinary standards, motivating and coaching their team, managing kitchen procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. Overseeing equipment maintenance, inventory management, and culinary process improvements are essential aspects of the role. Furthermore, the Executive Chef will lead staff training, conduct pre-shift meetings, support onboarding, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary. The ability to respond promptly to communication and coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to minimize product loss and maintain a high standard of food quality and service is paramount. This leadership position also involves attending management meetings and participating in operational development projects.   • 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, ideally in performance dining, collegiate athletics, or high-volume foodservice
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Understanding of financial concepts related to inventory and menu costing
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and client satisfaction
  • Intermediate or advanced understanding of elite athlete nutrition preferred
  • Culinary degree strongly preferred
  • ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
