We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. This role offers an annual salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience. The Executive Chef will lead our amazing culinary team across a busy, multi-outlet campus dining operation. This is a unique opportunity for a culinary professional with a mentoring leadership style and a passion for food, service, and presentation.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-volume, multi-outlet institutional dining settings such as hospitals, universities, senior living communities, or corporate dining. The Executive Chef must be adept at overseeing an "all you care to eat" board operation as well as supporting a fast-paced retail location. Additionally, they will have the ability to plan and execute upscale catering events, including on-campus weddings.
As a key leader in our culinary team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for cultivating a culture of fun, creativity, and growth. This role requires a culinary master with "culinary chops" who is well-versed in current and trending diverse menus, committed to menu implementation, and driven to deliver stunning food presentations. Strong communication skills and restaurant management knowledge are essential to effectively lead the team and maintain a superior guest experience.

                - 3-5 plus years supervisory experience as sous chef or executive chef
 - High volume background
 - Institutional facility or multi-outlet experience preferred
 - Impeccable communication skills
 - Strong restaurant management knowledge
 - Thorough knowledge of menu implementation with stunning presentation ideas
 - Strong catering experience
 - Culinary degree strongly preferred
