As an Executive Chef at Giostra, you will play a pivotal role in steering the kitchen’s creative and operational excellence. This leadership position calls for a professional with a deep culinary skill set, proven ability to innovate, and a passion for upholding the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will lead a dynamic kitchen team, from hiring and mentoring to overseeing day-to-day operations. The role is integral to maintaining the seamless delivery of Giostra’s menu, which features simple yet classic Italian dishes celebrating seasonal ingredients and time-tested cooking methods. Managing food costs, inventory, and compliance with safety standards also form key parts of the responsibilities. The Executive Chef collaborates closely with restaurant leadership on financial planning and ensures the kitchen runs efficiently and consistently meets the expectations of discerning guests.                 - Passion for food and dedication to delivering an excellent dining experience for every guest
 - Energetic and positive leadership style, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams in high-pressure environments
 - Strong communication skills to work effectively with managers, kitchen staff, dining room personnel, and guests
 - A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive culinary experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership/executive chef role
 - Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
 - Strong financial acumen, with proven ability to manage budgets, food costs, and labor efficiency
 - Creative approach to menu development, plating, and modern culinary trends
 - Ability to work long hours standing, lift 40+ pounds, and operate in hot/cold kitchen environments
 - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
