The company’s headquarters is based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and they have been rapidly growing and expanding their footprint nationwide. Resort Lifestyle Communities is deeply committed to creating vibrant, active, and engaging communities where seniors can enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle with resort-quality amenities and services designed to enhance everyday living. Their approach focuses heavily on providing a welcoming and supportive environment that emphasizes respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence. The role of Executive Chef at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a unique and rewarding opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about delivering exceptional food experiences within a resort-style senior living community. The Executive Chef is responsible for planning and executing dynamic menus that respond to resident preferences and feedback, ensuring a fresh, appealing, and memorable dining experience each day. This role blends creativity, leadership, and hospitality to foster lasting relationships with residents and guests while overseeing all culinary and dining team members. The chef will closely collaborate with Community Managers to continuously refine the quality and style of food service, maintaining resort-level standards at all times. This position offers a favorable work-life balance with a schedule that ends early in the evening (dinner service concludes by 6:30 pm), providing no late-night shifts. Employees enjoy a delicious free meal during their shifts along with access to OnDemand Pay, enabling early access to earned income as needed. The company offers competitive compensation and a $610 monthly stipend to apply toward a variety of employee benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and other financial accounts like HSAs and FSAs. Additional perks include paid holidays and vacation time, a 401(k) plan with generous employer match, and a supportive work environment that values a servant’s heart and passion for hospitality. In this role, the Executive Chef is empowered to create and implement a rotating and innovative menu that reflects residents’ tastes while allowing creative freedom through diverse cooking styles and presentation techniques. Immediate resident feedback provides a unique opportunity to make a direct impact and build memorable experiences. Along with culinary duties, the Executive Chef plays an essential role in recruitment, selection, scheduling, and training of culinary and dining team members, supporting the company’s core values throughout daily operations. This is a leadership position that requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a dedication to excellence in culinary arts and customer service. If you have a passion for cooking, fostering community, and enhancing the lives of seniors through exceptional dining, this role is an ideal fit.
