The current opening is for an Event Manager dedicated to concerts, private, and corporate events at the Desert Diamond Arena. This role is vital in planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of events including ticketed entertainment such as concerts, family shows, and sporting events, alongside private functions like galas, trade shows, meetings, and community gatherings. The Event Manager acts as the primary liaison connecting clients, venue departments, and external vendors. This role involves ensuring seamless communication and operational excellence to deliver a world-class guest experience. The Event Manager will oversee all facets of event preparation and coordination, diligently adhering to company policies, client requirements, and strict safety standards. Responsibilities encompass developing detailed event plans and timelines, coordinating internal staffing and resources, managing vendor relationships, and conducting pre-event meetings and walkthroughs. The individual will monitor event phases from load-in to load-out, ensuring compliance with building rules and safety procedures. Additionally, the role entails working collaboratively with city officials and fire marshals to acquire necessary permits and approvals. Client and vendor relationship management is another critical aspect of the role, requiring the ability to build and sustain strong partnerships that foster repeat business and uphold the venue\'s outstanding reputation. Financial oversight responsibilities include assisting in budget preparation, managing estimates and settlements, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency. Effective communication and collaboration with internal departments such as Operations, Security, Guest Services, Food & Beverage, and Premium Sales are essential. The Event Manager will also provide on-site supervision of part-time and contract staff during events, ensuring all team members align with venue standards and event requirements.
