The Event Manager - Project Delivery Specialist II - Customer role is a unique opportunity within Deloitte’s Project Delivery Talent Model (PDM), designed specifically for long-term client engagements that may be onsite or remote. This role emphasizes the delivery of projects with minimal travel requirements, offering a balanced work environment while allowing professionals to utilize and develop their event planning and project management skills effectively. The position focuses on the end-to-end management of events, ensuring seamless coordination from planning through post-event analysis. The Event Manager is responsible for collaborating with agencies, managing logistics, speaker scheduling, content development, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement. In addition to event execution, this role involves analyzing event and marketing data to optimize future initiatives and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic business environments, showcasing adaptability, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills.
You will work closely with Engagement Managers, project team members, and various technical and functional teams to escalate issues when necessary and drive continuous process improvements. This includes leading client workstreams focused on operational enhancements such as implementing best practices and enhancing quality outcomes. The wage range for this role is estimated between $97,800 and $163,215, reflecting various factors including skill set and experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance. Limited immigration sponsorship and travel up to 10% may be required depending on client and project needs. - Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 4-8 years of experience in event planning and management, project management, logistics coordination
- Proven track record of at least 4 years in event planning, project management, and logistical coordination
- At least 4 years of experience with stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on experience of at least 4 years with content development and data analysis
- Ability to travel up to 10% depending on project needs
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
