The Event Manager role at Snapdragon Stadium is a vital position responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned events. Key responsibilities include advancing event planning, hosting pre-event production meetings, drafting detailed production notes, managing communication between show staff and stadium personnel, and serving as manager on duty during events. The manager also compiles event expenses, assists in post-event settlements, liaises with food and beverage providers, and ensures compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the Event Manager leads efforts to recommend staffing needs, investigate and resolve complaints, and coordinate public safety measures involving police, fire, and medical services.
Ideal candidates for this role will have three to five years of event management experience in stadiums, arenas, or public assembly facilities and hold a bachelor’s degree in facility management, hospitality, business, or related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, familiarity with production and event safety standards, and the ability to work independently and under pressure are essential. Experience with AutoCAD and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and a commitment to maintain professionalism and confidentiality are also important.
