The Event Coordinator role at Michaels is a dynamic position focused on planning, coordinating, and facilitating events within the store to create enjoyable, stress-free, and engaging experiences for guests. This includes organizing multiple events simultaneously, such as children’s birthday parties and craft classes. The role requires actively engaging with clients of all ages—ranging from young children to seniors—by fostering an environment rich in fun and creativity. The coordinator demonstrates and instructs craft projects, manages various party activities like face painting, and oversees event add-ons including goody bags and balloons, all while maintaining company standards.
